Return on investment

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question for everyone. I’m still new at real estate so I’m learning everyday. Have a couple investors that want to invest anywhere from $50k-$200k in my company. When it comes to using an investors money whether it’s for a flip or a rental, I’m still kind of confused of what a good percentage of a return for the investor is to where I’m still making money. I understand every deal is different but on average what percentage does everyone try and sell to close the deal.

Ive had a lot of guys tell me. Make them happy but don’t give the farm away, but I’m still struggling with finding an actual number.

Any examples you have from your past would be fantastic as well!

Thanks In advance!

Sean
