Pros/Cons of purchasing a home in a homogenous neighborhood?

By homogenous, I'm referring to the style and type of home. I'm looking at a duplex that's in a wonderful area (120k average income, basically new homes, good location), but there are probably 2-3 dozen other duplexes that look just like it.

I think there is low inventory for the city because I'm not seeing many homes available for rent on zillow, so thats good.

I'm considering making a move on this home. Any things to watch out for given this kind of set up? I'm worried that the similarity of this home compared to others will drive the rent price down.
