Reimbursement for Eviction Moratorium
Just curious if any other mom and pop investors lost rental income due to the eviction moratorium. I only own two units and one tenant didn’t pay for 10 months because of the moratorium. I was eventually able to get a judge to give us a court date and the tenant lost because they could not prove they were affected by COVID. I received a judgment, but my attorney has not been successful in garnishing the tenants check. Are there any govt programs to reimburse landlords affected by the moratorium they enacted?
