Updated over 8 years ago,
strategy for hot market in Taiwan
Hello,
I am from Taiwan and have been doing real estate investment for 7 years.
For the past 7 years, the house price here has been going up and is almost tripled comparing to the price 7 years ago.
I mix flip and buy-and-hold strategies usually.
But I don't know if it is still right time to do buy-and-hold now, it is hardly to have positive cashflow for the market price now (even 20% lower than the market price).
I am also considering of selling some rental properties because of the incredible appreciation, but I don't know how many percent of numbers of houses I should sell and take cash back.
If the price keeps going up and I take cash back, it would be harder and harder to find good deals.
The value of houses are going up and the value of cash on my hand is going down.
Could anyone give me some suggestions?
How should I adjust my strategy?
