My common law partner isn't on board.

I am somewhat new to investing in real estate and want to grow my portfolio but my boyfriend isn't on board.

I managed my property as an Airbnb for 3 years before selling it a couple of years ago. Now I am with my boyfriend and we own two properties together. He has a rental property that was his before we were together. I don't have anything to do with his rental and would like to start buying real estate for myself however he isn't interested. My issue is we own both properties together and I don't qualify alone for another mortgage with the other properties. I don't want to force him to put his name on anything he doesn't want to but would like to grow my portfolio.

Does anyone have any suggestions going forward?
