Selling sublets
Is large scale subletting possible? By that I mean contracting with owners of multiple properties to "rent" their properties and then sublet to a new renter for the purpose of cash flow.
I understand that the owner would need to approve subletting in the rental agreement.
What would make this different than most sublets is that I would be acquiring control of the property for the sole purpose of leasing it out. In theory, this could be done with as many properties as one could acquire.
The idea is to turn low/no equity properties into potential income producing properties but keep the risk at an acceptable level.
I mean no disrespect by this but I am not looking for feedback from someone with no relevant knowledge or experience. I also am not looking for "why would you do that, there are 100 other ways to make money!"
As I said, no disrespect but I am only looking for facts.
TIA!
