UC Irvine Investment Group

Hello! I’m currently the Co-President of the Real Estate Association at UC Irvine. I started an Investment Group within our club for those looking to further their knowledge about real estate investing. We host bi-weekly meetings over zoom to learn and discuss anything we’ve learned with each other. So far, I have introduced them to Bigger Pockets and several other resources. We started with reviewing the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing, how to analyze macroeconomic data to select a market and last week we reviewed the CA-RPA. Eventually we would be very interested in starting a syndication together but first want to focus on gaining as much knowledge as we can.

I’m now currently looking for experienced real estate investors who would be interested in coming out to one of our meetings and answer some of the questions we may have. We have 5 highly-motivated students that want to break into real estate investing and consistently come out to our meetings.

Also, please let me know if you have any ideas on what we could potentially discuss in our future meetings. I have thought of reviewing Title & Appraisal Reports but not entirely sure how pertinent that would be to our education.
