FL - Sale or rent out single family home in retirement community?

Hello.  First post here.  Looking to get some feedback.  I am in the process of cleaning out my father's home in FL.  It is his second home.  He can no longer live there due to medical issues.  The home is paid for and it is in a retirement community thus 55 and over.  The homes in there have a monthly and annual maintenance.  The homes range from 175k to 225k there.   Should I sell it or rent it out?   Regardless of what we do, the home or money from a sale, would need to be used to generate additional income for him to help with his care.  We do not live in FL so it would need to be managed.  I am leaning towards selling it.

Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

thanks!
