Investment tips and advised needed

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I guess basic curiosity and the desire to learn from others inspired me to lock for a forum with the type of information needed to take this adventure.

I am not completely new to real estate investment, my parents have some rental properties. But after been on the side lines learning and getting older, age 25, I think I am ready to proclaim my independence and do my own thing.

I recently obtained my RE salesperson license with the intention of helping my parents grow their portfolio and purchasing my first property. Yet, I believe there is more to real estate investment than what I currently know.

I have 20% down, I have a credit score of 730 and a little backup money in cause of an emergency. I live at home with my parents, so I am looking for a rental.

I would like to purchase one property and save another 20% for another down payment.

Honestly, this is pretty much what I seen my parents do... But I believe there is more to this.

Any tips? advise?

I really appreciate you help.
