Can a non-spouse co-borrower qualify for VA loan?

Can a non-spouse/family member be a co-borrower on a VA loan?

Also, in terms of the buy/sell agreement and title, if the VA financing is for the active military person only can the purchase still be under the partnerships LLC?

Or would we need to do a quick-claim deed?

Thanks,

Corey

@Corey Meyer if you have a co-borrower who is a non-spouse and does not have VA entitlement, you would need a 12.5% down payment.

You cannot purchase in a LLC with a VA loan. And if you deed to a LLC in the first year, you are risking tripping the due on sale clause in your Mortgage.

There are no loopholes for either of your questions.

TYFYS and best of luck!
