Wholesalers - how do you find a good one in CT ?

Im looking to make an investment in multi family properties in CT ( location varies dependent on the property and the ability to produce a solid rent roll. My question is - how do you find a LEGIT wholesaler in CT ? There are Craigslist clowns all over the place calling themselves wholesalers and to me it seems like they couldnt wholesale a wet paper bag. Any assistance or info to get me going in the right direction would be greatly appreciated !
