Property inspector recommended by seller

I am planning to buy investment property but seller would rather work with the property inspector they recommend/ approve than what I have in mind. Is this common?

Reason given was some inspectors don’t know enough about how it works with respect to scheduling. My inspectors schedule is open and I don’t see any such issues.

Is it ok to go with property inspector recommended by seller?

@Jay Sheth

There is no way I’m using the sellers inspector.  It’s my choice and I want an independent inspector who is representing me “The Buyer”.  Of course it’s your call.
