Roth IRA stock market investing or Real Estate for retirement?
Would keeping my Roth IRA money in the market make more or less than taking it out and investing in rental properties (selling and buying more with 10-31 exchanges) until retirement age. I'm 31 now and I know this all depends on the properties and market, but assuming normal/average returns for both.

There's no such thing as "normal average returns" in any investment, much less RE.
The returns gained in Stock Market, in any form, are based on someone else taking control of your money. In RE, you take control. In the SM, the returns are linear, while in RE they should be exponential. In the SM, you have to leave your money in the investment to continue getting returns from it. In RE, you can remove your money...and still get returns.
