Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Agent and Active Duty Military

I'm currently AD, I'm going to begin a career in RE as a sales agent in the commercial sector specializing in net-leases. Has anyone gone the commercial sales route while AD? I know the sales cycle is greater in the commercial space. Is that an advantage or drawback? How is the time requirement?

@Charlie Cameron @Stuart Grazier @Donald E Appleberry you guys know anyone who is a commercial agent while active duty? I know plenty of residential agents, but can't think of any commercial off the top of my head.
