How much EQUITY to give you partner

Omar Malcolm
Posted

Hi All,

I’m a brand new aspiring investor. I have two questions.

1.) If I have the cash to put into a buy and hold deal but need to bring someone in on it to secure financing, what is a fair equity to give them if all they are doing is helping you getting approved and putting zero cash into the deal?

2.) Secondly how is the percentage of ownership legally set up. Through the title company?

Thanks in advance!
