Any one have any experience changing zoning on a property?

Hi Everyone,

I’m interested in a property but would like to change the zoning from residential to commercial us there are properties that have already done so on the same road. Interested to see if the process is complicated or easy?

The difficult depends on the circumstances and the city.  Contact the planning department and talk to the staff.  If other properties have been rezoned then this should be fairly easily.  There is a comprehensive you can check.  This document provides the direction for redevelopment of an area.
