Options to release suspended passive losses

Hi, we bought an investment property this year and will have passive losses. In the future, we will qualify for REPS, but this year we wont. Wondering if there are people out there that have used crowdfunding website/syndications to invest to get passive gains to unsuspend those passive losses rather than waiting to sell the property. I have read about PIGS but not really interested in golf courses, convention centers, or ski resort investing. Thanks in advance.
