State's political party has impact on property values?

Hi,

I previously read a comment on facebook about someone saying if a state becomes liberal, their property prices tend to sky rocket. Is this true? Im not even sure where this idea came from, but im wondering if this is true. And if this is true, why is it? Or was that person just being sarcastic?

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes, it's true. Not only property taxes, but employment taxes, sales taxes, income taxes and others taxes as well. How did you think they "pay" for all of these programs they promise people?
