Texas coast Airbnb investment

Joshua Morgan
Posted

Airbnb one block from the beach. High growth Texas coast town with 500 billion in investment pouring into the local area. With all the talk of a crash, is it a good time to buy? My thought is all the people moving to Austin and San Antonio are going to want an inexpensive place to vacay no matter the economy. History is good even during COVID for profitability. The price is a little higher but IF the future matches this past summer it will be highly profitable. Newbie so looking forward to constructive advice.

Wife and I own two Airbnb's in Port Aransas. Highly recommend! They have done great for us this year with the pandemic. Several guests mentioned how convenient driving to their destination was. Real estate prices are getting pretty dang high, but still some deals to be found.

I'd recommend reaching out to one of the property management companies for advice. They should be able to tell you what types of properties rent the best and how the rentals are trending. Feel free to reach out with any specific questions. Good luck!
