Future investor advice
Hello community,
This is my first post here at the BiggerPockets forum. I decided to take a step towards securing my future. I know I have a lot of ground to cover since I never done this. But my timeframe to be knowledge-ready is probably within a year?
But I wanted to take any advice you probably would’ve wish to know when starting your career? Any areas I should be focusing more than another? Im going to do multifamily properties to start with,
My plan is to do an FHA loan, live in one, and rent the others.
But my credit isn’t the best, and I hAve some debt and taxes left to pay. It all equals about 14k. I have $15000 saved and im still reading to see if its better to just pay everything and have a good credit, or just keep paying the same way and save the $15k for a downpayment?
Also, is there such a thing as buying a fourplex with positive cashflow and tenants? Or is that a unicorn of a deal?
Thank you everyone!
