Subject To Deal - Tax Question
Working on a deal to take over two duplexes subject to.
Question is, the seller purchased them around two decades ago in the 120k range. They now owe $289,000 on each and I will be taking over subject to.
Are there any tax consequences in the state of California on something like this since they have pulled finds out via a refi?
