New property investor
Hello everyone I am looking for some insight on a few questions.!
Heres some background information. I am looking to buy my first investment property in PA for about 60-80k after closing costs. I have a decent credit score and I only have one car loan being paid monthly.
I am pre approved for about 100k so I am currently looking for a multi family or single family.
1. What area should I look to invest in Pennsylvania? (I have an area in mind already )
2 . What is the next step I need to take beside finding a property ?
Find a bank ?
3. Should I open an LLC ? (I do plan on buying more houses as I start to learn the business)

Hey Kevin,
Welcome to investing!
1. Highly recommend Pittsburgh. We currently manage in most of PA and Pittsburgh seems to get the best returns without a high cost to invest.
2. I suggest building a team. I highly recommend Austin Daniel if you are going to focus in Pittsburgh or surrounding and Chris Schink if you are thinking of Philly or surrounding. Both are great agents who can connect you with contractors, closing companies, additional lenders, etc.
3. There isn't a reason that I can think of not to do that. Even if you only end up with one or two, if you create a pass through llc this would protect you.
Let me know if we can be of any help!
