abandoned house

Hi all,
I found a house that has been abandoned for 5 years (no taxes paid) I'm assuming the owner is deceased. Obviously no heirs want the house. What's a rei to do? The structural standards division of the city placed a do not enter sign recently. Do I research this at the courthouse? Help, there's money to be made! I'm on a mission. :groovy:
