Is DC metropolitan area good for Wholesaling?????????????????????

Hello Everybody, 

Im new to the wholesale business and currently live in the DC metropolitan area, by way of NorthernVirginia.  Just wanted to know is the DC metropolitan area a good place to wholesale with everything being so expensive and cost of living??? Or is the market not good to make money off of wholesaling?
