Seller financing deals in Rhode Island

I am interested to know more about seller financing deals.

For example the current economic crisis has put a lot of homeowners in deferred payments. I would like to see if anyone has any suggestions on programs to help those homeowners out of their mortgage trouble by purchasing the home and keeping them in their home as a renter.
