Young couple looking for first home there. Helping from a distance. Anybody have a clue what areas might be affordable? Commuting to Seattle for work.

Burien is a great area to commute almost anywhere from Seattle to Bellevue and all points south. Our area is lower cost housing lots of older homes to fix up or new construction. It's only a matter of time until our area is forced higher in value as housing gets tighter and the homes get newer.

40 years here and things are on the rise.
