HOW TO TRANSFER PROPERTIES FROM MY NAME TO MY LLC?

Chantalle Harris
Posted

Hello. I’m a single mom, with a 6 year old daughter and a 5 year old Autistic son. I own 5 properties including my personal residence. 3 of these properties are owned free and clear, the other two have mortgages. However, one of the 3 properties that I own free and clear, was purchased with cash advances from my credit cards. I now currently owe approximately $40,000 in credit card debts, which is affecting my credit scores. I use all the profit from my rental properties to pay down my credit cards, and I basically live off my retirement check from the military which is approximately $1,200 per month. I have a very modest lifestyle (way below my means).

My issue is, my autistic son is eligible for SSI, however, I may not qualify due to the fact that I own 5 properties in my name. I have an LLC, but I don't know how to go about transferring those properties to my LLC.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?
