Can wholesaling be a successful business in an area where the housing market is stable and tends to have very low volatility?

Hi Doug R.,
Wholesaling can be successful in any market at all, because you're dealing with people who care diddly squat about the market. Wholesalers market for distressed properties, the ones that will never come up on the MLS.

These people are willing to trade some or all of their equity for speed and ease in order to have instant debt relief, or quick cash, some times both. People in these distressed situations can generally not get what they need from an agent, and therefore don't even try.

No matter what the market does, there will always be burnt out land lords, people moving next week, folks who inherited a house they don't want, parents looking to pay their kids tuition....they're out there..... in a neighborhood near you!
