Docusign & Rent Collection... Am I in the Stone Age?
I remember years ago when you had to run around to buyers and sellers for signatures. Then the fax revolutionized that. That was so amazing... until everyone started fax-blasting you junk-fax and using up all your paper and carbon copy (remember that?). Then not very long ago we went to scanning and emailing PDF files back and forth. Today, it seems like Docusign is the next step in our evolution. Are you using this? Any drawbacks? Any services better than Docusign? And do you think we'll ever evolve to the point where we can just "think" we are signing and that will be good enough? (Ok... lighten up and enjoy the humor)
Topic #2: I still use the old method of rent collection, that is, having the tenants send a check through snail mail on the first of the month. This seems so 1999 (Yes, I just made that expression up... I suppose it's a rip-off from Prince's "Tonight we're going to party like it's 1999" Modified, I suppose it's, "Tonight we're going to pay our rent like it's 1999"). Anyway, I wonder if my tenants think that I jam out to Prince every day? Ok. Now on to solutions: What methods are you 2013 bipeds using in rent collection. I am totally ready to retire this club I've been carrying around.
Thanks in advance!
PS. I think I have a few people following me on BP. I wonder if this post will make them stop?
