What % of Deal for Deal Maker
Hello BP!
I am working with a new investor and they are looking to get their money into Real Estate investing, but they have ZERO ability to find/negotiate/buy/manage deals and the corresponding upgrades/rental etc. Furthermore, the money is tied up in Trust involving court approvals, so I am looking to find industry "standards" for what percentage of the deal, the deal maker might get.
I know the best answer is "What ever is negotiable." However, I need a "Call to Authority" or "Standard" to help present the value to the court. What have you guys and gals seen Deal Makers/Deal Finders get as a percentage of equity in a partnership/deal. I will also be providing renovation management for the projects. These will be BRRR 4-8 plexes, buy and hold. Ongoing property management through a 3rd party.
Thanks!
