With a Series LLC, rehabs costs are taken out of where?

Hello BP and CPA's! Newbie question here: I'm buying a house with a "sub-series" (Series LLC in Texas). My question is should rehab money come from the same sub-series, or can/does home improvement costs come from the parent LLC or another sub-series that is dedicated to exclusively rehab? Thanks in advance.
