Structuing an Equity Partnership
I am looking to do an equity partnership on an upcoming deal. I have the time and means, they have the money. Looking for input on how you structure the deal. How do you write up expense costs, distribution of profits, etc?
My initial thought is 50/50 ownership, we are both on the deed/title for the property, I am on the mortgage for the financed portion of the property, they provide the cash for the down payment and rehab.
Any experienced input would be greatly appreciated.
