Insurance issues when buying a property Subject To

Hi,

I have a signed "sub2" purchase contract. The 1st trust deed has impounds that include prop taxes and insurance. Clearly, I don't want the loans to get called by alerting the lenders to any change, but want to make sure that the property is covered, and that I am able to make a claim if something goes wrong.

How have you handled this?

Sincere thanks,
Brian
