Investor in the family

In the last few years I have found out my uncle (My dads brother in law) is a real estate investor. He seriously must own about 30+ properties in only 2 or three little towns in about 45 minute radious..

He has kept it pretty quiet though, I never knew up until the last few years, I know he has about 6 million in bank at least because he just sold off all his farm and equipment , tractors at a auction that I attended months back..

My question is, how can I go about asking him for help, I know hes family but does this make a different, How and what can I ask him to help me with? I dont want to go to far thinking family is close and insult to him thinking im just trying to pull a fast one on him..
