Seller Financing - Due Diligence...NDA?

Hello, this is more of a legal question. I am the potential buyer in a deal and am submitting an offer requiring owner financing. The listing agent has recommended to my agent that I submit supporting documentation (W2s, Tax Returns, possibly a statement of assets, etc..) up front with the offer before he passes along to his client. When dealing with another private party like this, should I have the seller sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, or would it suffice to just black out my social security number on the relevant forms? Just looking to see what others have done in seller financed deals.

Thanks!
