Phoenix, AZ - Looking to Connect with Other Investors

My wife and I are moving to Phoenix this November and I wanted to connect with other investors. I visited earlier this May to explore the area but the best way to learn about the area is to connect with other RE investors. My plan is house hack by finding homes with apartments in the back and live in the apartment. If I can find a good deal, I would like to combine this with the BRRRR strategy too. Can any local Phoenix investors offer advice on the best strategy for any particular area? For example, is house flipping/prehab the best strategy for the Scottsdale area?

Also, I am a mechanical enginner currently seeking employment opportunities in the Phoenix area so any leads or referrals would be appreciated as well.

Thanks!
