Owner Occupied Rules?

Hello fellow Investors,

What are the current owner occupied rules surrounding the time frame for having to occupy the property? The property is located in Ma, not sure if that matters or not. A mortgage person is saying that you have to live in the owner occupied "investment" for two years yet everything I read online says one. Where would I locate this information to show loan officer if in fact he is not correct? Any help would be appreciated.
