Zillow buys homes now????

So I saw today through an email I got from something I signed up for a while ago. Is that Zillow is buying homes for cash now??? Will this help or hurt investors? Which investors will this help or hurt? Is Zillow Wholesaling?

I believe it’s in certain areas right now. I just looked it up and here’s a link if anyone wants to check it out.
