Opinions on owner build and flip strategy.

What do people think of the idea of building custom home and selling every two years to take advantage of the tax free homeowner exemption?  I will act as the general contractor and am able to create quite a bit of sweat equity since I can do most of the finish work myself.  I built my first house about five years ago as an owner builder.  I'm getting ready to sell that property and was amazed at what the market price is compared to my initial investment.  I found many topics on live and flip strategy, but I'm not a fan of buying dilapidated properties and living in them while trying to remodel.  With build and flip, I get to move into a new house every two years.  Thoughts?
