Shower tile vs shower insert

I have been installing tile in the showers when I reno my rentals.  It is a bit of a pain and somewhat expensive.  Has anyone used the lowes or HD shower inserts.  They seem affordable, anywhere from 350-900 for the simple versions.  I would have the contractor install it rather than the tile guy.

Tile looks nice but it is harder to clean and more likely to leak. In a rental property, use interlocking no-caulk panels. They will never leak and easily wipe clean. There is lots of great options for panels that look like tile and there is only seams in the corners. It goes up fast, easy to clean and never leaks.

I agree with others, if it is a flip then install tile. Why? Because the maintenance and leaks are someone elses problem!
