Partners in investing
Good morning!
After watching the most recent webinar, I had a question regarding going in with a partner. In the webinar, Brandon said at one point he went in with a partner because he didn't have the funds. The partner paid the down payment, he managed the property and at the end of the year they would look over income and expenses of the property and split the difference.
My question is this: what happens to the down payment? Does that get paid back by the other partner? Or is there an agreement of some sort where the down-payment-paying partner gets a larger percentage of the yearly income? Or is it just a wash? I was wondering what happened in Brandon's specific situation but I'm also curious what everyone else's experience has been?
