Any thoughts on wooden foundation and metal roof

I have this 5-plex I’m looking at that’s built in 1968, has a wooden foundation and metal roof. This is practically the first time I’ll be coming by such. Does anyone know some merits and demerits to these?

True wood foundation with wood in contact with the ground?  Or is it a pier and beam foundation with concrete/brick/stone footings (piers) and wood (beam) sitting on top of that?  Wood in contact with ground is a non-starter.  Pier and beam is a standard construction method for a foundation and should be fine if properly maintained.

A good metal roof can last up to 50 years.

Definitely have a good inspector inspect the property.
