What is your go to property type?

Hey BP,

As an aspiring REI who has 1 property, I was wondering what your go to property type was (single family, condo, townhome, duplex etc).

I currently have a 3 bed 2 bath SFH in which I live in 1 room and rent out the other 2 essentially covering my mortgage. As I look to get my next place, I am a bit stuck at the type I want. Unfortunately in my area, duplexes seem to be out of the question as they are in not so great neighborhoods etc.

Do you prefer condos? Townhomes? SFH's? What do you got?
