Who do wholesalers actually show property

Just curious. I’ve always been on the other side as an investor doing fix and flips but I get calls from multiple wholesalers. I’m not oblivious to the fact they are making money by assigning the contract but when they ask if I want to see a property I often wonder, if you only have it under contract, not actually closed on it how do you get access to the property to show people like myself?? Like, did you get keys just for putting it under contract ?
