New Philadelphia REI looking to connect.

Hey everyone! My name is Lewis Colon and I have recently introduced to the power of Real Estate Investing. As a graduate from Penn State with a degree in Business and a focus in Finance I knew it was a good idea, but my education was more focused around stocks. After further research into the matter I feel that REI is a much more powerful tool for financial freedom. Of course that is when you invest smartly. Lately I have spent my time reading books, listening to Podcasts and trying to build out my network. I joined Renatus but have been looking for other ways to connect with like-minded people who are making their dreams come true. While I enjoy my day job, it's not my dream to get stuck in the 40/40/40. I am looking to connect with people in the area who would be willing to work together or provide guidance and how to be successful in this industry. I admit their are still pretty many gaps.in my knowledge such as estimating rehab costs, getting reliable local contractors and finding a good property manager. My goal is to buy my first BRRRR by May or maybe even House Hack a 3-4 unit in the area. I spend every day looking at properties but feel if I walk through I property I won't know what to look for and terms or a serious issue.
