How come I find properties before my broker?

I’ve reached out and spoken with 4-5 realtors and have found with each one that NONE of them bring properties to my attention. Granted, im constantly on all of the real estate websites looking for houses, but I can’t think of a single one in two years that I didn’t bring a home to their attention as opposed to the other way around. I constantly hear stories of investors that bring them deals or bring groups of properties to their investors attention, and I am just wondering how that happens in the current tech age.

It feels like my realtor is just there for paperwork. It shouldn’t feel that way right? What can I do about this?

Thanks!

That’s good to know, and not wrong of them at all. Have to go with what pays. I’m excited to be at that point. Might have to settle for mediocre deals in the meantime.

Mediocre deal have made me fairly wealthy. I cant tell you how many times I hear other "investors" say theyd never buy the properties I buy, and you cant make money on them.....while Im 10 times wealthier than they are....because I actually get in the game, instead of staying on the sidelines waiting for some perfect deal to come along that never materializes.
