Austin vs Raleigh what's the differences

I was wondering what market is better for investing at this time Austin or Raleigh? No state income tax in texas, but higher property taxes vs state income tax in NC and any other factors. Looking at both markets to move to and invest and I'm looking for information from those who are in either markets.

@Remone R. Austin Texas is scorching hot! There are still deals to be found if one is savvy and have connections. Apple is pouring in a billion into the market and that is probably because its cheaper to operate in Austin than San Francisco..just a hunch. Oracle is also plowing money into their offices. Google is here. Facebook is here. Amazon is even here. Don't let the news fool you though and think that there are not good deals to be had. People are people no matter the location/city. I am buying a house from a divorcing couple right now at a huge discount which will be cash flowing. It happens.

The best way to compare though is to look at the texas a &m real estate center website. They have a very good comprehensive research center for real estate. Its the best source to compare unemployment, employment etc.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you need additional help/insight.
