High property taxes Sullivan county NY

Does anyone have positive experiences with buy and hold rentals in Sullivan County New York, or other areas with very high property taxes. Average property taxes for a 50,000 house that rents for 1000 a month is almost 5,000 a year in some spots. Having a tough time finding deals that will cash flow positively with taxes so high.
