Benefits of buying during winter/off-season

Jacob Klee
Posted
Just getting started in real estate, we are looking to house hack a duplex in green Bay Wisconsin area, our agent has talked my wife into the benefits of buying in the winter or the off season. Claiming we should be able to get a better price. Now we're not in a hurry by any means, the numbers work on the duplex, but a part of me wants to wait and see what becomes available this spring since we are going to be living in one half of it. If anyone has any advice on the advantages/disadvantages of buying during the off-season/winter please feel free to share. Also anyone has any connections in the Green Bay/Fox Valley market in Wisconsin please feel free to connect with me. Thanks, Jake
