Is a HELOC the best method after purchasing my home last year?

Marquis Kendrick
Posted
My wife and I purchased our home last year in Baltimore, MD. Our goal is to purchase our first investment property by August 6, 2019. We are learning but we are trying to figure out how to come up with the money. I was reading about Home Equity Loans and started thinking this may be the way my wife and I can have cash avaoto purchase our home. We are both Vets and after reading a few blogs we figure that VA is not the best option. So we read a few blogs about Home Equity Loans and we figure that may be our best option. How do you find out if your home have equity? Do you think that’s the best way to go? We are still learning how to analyze property but we don’t want to drag our feet. We have a hard date that we are committed to!!!
